Well with 3x Charters due through in the space of around 20 minutes I thought I'd head down to Milton Keynes Central on a cold Sunday night to film them. LSL were running the show, with 87002 pushing "The Clansman" railtour back to London Euston after its trip to Inverness. A few minutes later 90002 with a rake of mk2 coaches and 67006 on the back, passes with a football charter from Wembley to Liverpool. Then 15 minutes later another LSL service, lead by a 47 and a mixed rake of coaches with Intercity 90002 on the rear passes also from Wembley to Liverpool which I am told was carrying the managers and the Liverpool Team back home after their victory against Chelsea at Wembley. With it being a Sunday night, the WCML swapped to a 2 track railway, with the slow lines closed for Network Rail to take possession for maintenance, so notice the LNW 350 terminates in platform 5. Also you might notice some hefty delays. This was caused by the football match running into overtime, then penalties and some of the last trains of the day from London to Liverpool being held and then subsequently severely overcrowded.
